Speculations about less aggressive interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve were dampened: Stockbrokers shouldn’t focus on the pace, but on the top interest rate of the current hike cycle, warned Fed banker Christopher Waller. And that is still a long way off. In doing so, the currency watchdog contained the speculation that had skyrocketed after the weakening of price pressure in the USA on a decreasing interest rate pressure, which had previously driven the purchase of shares.
