Investors fear inflation and China

Frankfurt Is inflation rising permanently? This is exactly what international fund managers fear – and see it as the greatest risk in the financial markets at the moment. That is a finding of the monthly fund manager survey of the Bank of America (BofA).

48 percent of those surveyed named inflation as the greatest potential threat to the financial markets – twice as many as a month ago. This time, a particularly large number of investors participated in the survey (380). Together they manage a good $ 1.2 trillion.

In fact, inflation is rising significantly, especially in the United States. In September consumer prices increased by 5.4 percent compared to the previous year. This was the fourth month in a row that they exceeded the five percent mark.
