It’s central bank week. After the Fed in the USA, interest rate decisions in the euro zone, Switzerland and Great Britain will follow on Thursday. Investors therefore initially held back on Wednesday and avoided any risk. This caused prices on the German market to fall with trading volumes below average. The leading index Dax fell slightly by 0.3 percent to 14,460 points.
On such trading days, either company news or analyst comments ensure movement in the individual stocks. An example of the influence of the experts was at Synlab, a Munich-based provider of human and veterinary laboratory services.
