Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 14 series, including the standard and 5G models, along with Pro options. The Pro models feature a consistent design with large curved displays and robust camera systems, powered by Snapdragon and MediaTek chips. The series offers impressive specs like a 200 MP camera, long-lasting battery life, and advanced software support. Pre-orders are now open, with shipments starting on January 15th, providing affordable options for consumers seeking modern smartphone features.

Xiaomi Launches the Redmi Note 14 Series

Xiaomi has recently introduced its latest lineup of smartphones, the Redmi Note 14 series, featuring the standard Redmi Note 14 and the Note 14 5G, both of which come at competitive pricing. For those looking for more advanced features, the Pro models provide a mid-range option, with a total of three variations: one 4G model and two 5G variants.

Design and Display Features

The design language across the Redmi Note 14 Pro models is remarkably consistent. With dimensions closely matching at 162.53 mm x 74.67 mm x 8.75 mm, the Pro Plus emerges as the heaviest at 210 g, while the base Pro weighs in at 180 g. Each model sports a large, curved display complemented by a similarly styled back, featuring beveled edges for enhanced grip and a centrally positioned camera module. A unique aspect of the Note 14 Pro+ is its camera module, which is fully protected by a glass cover, unlike the other models that showcase independent lenses.

All three models operate on Xiaomi HyperOS, a customized Android-based system, and they promise an impressive software support lifespan, offering 6 years of Android and security updates.

Smartphone Specifications and Features

The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G is designed with a modern aesthetic and ergonomic feel, boasting a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display that delivers a stunning 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. To protect against scratches and impacts, it features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

At the core of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G lies Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, built on a 4 nm process, succeeding the 7s Gen 2 found in its predecessor, the Redmi Note 13 Pro. This model offers configurations with either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB.

The smartphone showcases a robust triple rear camera system, including a 200 MP primary lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro lens, alongside a 20 MP front-facing camera. It also supports advanced photography features such as lossless zoom at 2x and 4x, an enhanced night mode, and various AI enhancements.

Powering the device is a substantial 5110 mAh battery with support for 120 Watts HyperCharge fast charging technology.

Mid-Range Options: Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Pro

The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G serves as the series’ mid-range option, offering 5G connectivity without a hefty price tag. It shares a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and is available in three stylish colors: black, purple, and blue.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chip, also constructed on a 4 nm process, this model offers similar RAM and storage configurations as the Pro Plus 5G. Its camera capabilities mirror those of its higher-end sibling, with a 5110 mAh battery that supports a maximum charging rate of 45 Watts.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro stands out as a budget-friendly option. Retaining many features of the Pro 5G, it comes in black, purple, and green, and includes a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. However, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra 4G SoC. The front camera resolution increases to 32 MP, while the battery capacity is improved to 5500 mAh, maintaining the 45 Watts charging speed.

Pricing and Availability

The Redmi Note 14 Pro models are now open for pre-orders, with initial shipments set to commence on January 15th. Below are the pricing details for the various configurations, all of which support expandable storage through microSD cards.
