The “Homeland Security Equipment Fair” (IGEF), which the homeland security industry has been eagerly awaiting, will be held at the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Congresium Congress and Exhibition Center between 19-21 September. İGEF 2024, which will be held for the first time, aims to bring together the public and private sectors and exhibit the latest technologies and equipment in the sector.
The fair, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is held with the support of important institutions such as the General Directorate of Security, Gendarmerie General Command, Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Turkish Police Force Strengthening Foundation (TPTGV), Gendarmerie Public Order Foundation, Weapons Industrialists and Explosives Businessmen Association (SİSİAD).
While İGEF 2024 will offer defense industry representatives the opportunity to exhibit their products on an international platform, it will also encourage cooperation and information sharing among industry professionals.
İzzet Tuna, General Manager of the Turkish Police Force Strengthening Foundation, emphasized that İGEF 2024 is an extremely prestigious fair for the internal security sector and invited sector representatives to participate in this important organization. Tuna stated that the fair is of great importance for the promotion of Turkey and stated that sector companies should take their place at İGEF 2024 to support the promotion of the country and the sector.
