Intel added 12 more popular games to the games that support the new generation Arrow Lake desktop processors (Core Ultra 200S series). Thanks to the company’s APO (Application Performance Optimization) technology, which increases application performance, famous games such as Fortnite and CyberPunk 2077 will receive a significant performance increase.
Intel Arrow Lake will fly in games with APO technology!
APO aims to increase frame rates in games by making more effective use of the efficiency cores in Intel’s APU processors (Alder Lake and later). Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K and Core Ultra 7 265K (and 265KF) processors can use this feature at full capacity.

However, a limited version of APO runs on models with fewer than eight performance cores, such as the Core Ultra 5 245K. However, even in this limited mode, a significant difference in fluidity and FPS increase in game performance is felt.
Here are the games that support APO technology:
- Company of Heroes 3
- Counter-Strike 2
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Dota 2
- Fortnite
- Naraka: Bladepoint
- Riftbreaker
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider
- Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
- Total War: Pharaoh
- Total War: Three Kingdoms
- Total War: Warhammer 3.
With these new games, Intel is accelerating its efforts to boost gaming performance. However, the Arrow Lake series may not fully meet the expectations of some players because it has a structure that prioritizes efficiency over performance.
However, it is said that AMD’s 7000X3D series is ahead in gaming performance and the new Ryzen 9800X3D is on the way. This leaves Intel facing tougher competition. On the other hand, the efficiency offered by Arrow Lake processors can prevent the heating problem and momentary lags called stuttering, especially in long-term gaming experiences.
