Tel Aviv In the first few months of this year, Israel’s fight against the virus provided the material for a success story. It was the first country to immunize a large part of its population against Covid-19 in a hurry.

In Israel, doses of the vaccine from the companies Biontech / Pfizer were inoculated most frequently. Because of the high vaccination rate, public life was able to return to normal just four months after the start of the immunization campaign.

But the return of the pandemic was dramatic, and the Israelis did not enjoy the end of the state of emergency for long. Although almost 70 percent have been vaccinated since the end of December, the number of cases is skyrocketing again and is back at the January level when the vaccination spurt had only just started.
