As part of the deal, players’ jerseys will feature the logo and website of the prank-based cryptocurrency on the back.
Floki Inu will also be advertised on LED screens around the football field during all home matches.
Founded in 1926, SSC Napoli is the fifth highest-paid team in the Serie A league. The club also has one of the largest fan bases in Italy.
In fact, SSC Napoli is not new to the crypto industry. The club announced last month that it has partnered with Chiliz to launch its own fan token.
In addition, Floki Inu announced at the beginning of November that it has signed an agreement with Kerala Blasters FC, the most followed club in India. But we can say that the SSC Napoli agreement made a bigger impact.
