HSV: Best second division clipper – Kittel shoots past Terodde – 2nd Bundesliga

With his double, Sonny Kittel (29) secured three important points for HSV against Heidenheim in the fight for promotion. But not only that. The playmaker is now the top scorer in HSV second division history

Kittel scored his 25th and 26th goals, putting himself ahead of Simon Terodde (24 goals/ now Schalke).

There is currently no acute danger for Kittel of being caught by other snappers in this ranking. Former HSV playmaker Aaron Hunt (35/without a club) is in third place with 17 goals. Followed by Bakery Jatta (23), who has 16, and center forward Robert Glatzel (28), who has scored 14 times so far.

smock that at 5-0 triumph in Darmstadt was missing due to a yellow card suspension, acted ice cold twice in front of the Heidenheim box: a dust collector (63rd), a penalty (78th).

Kittel describes his important first goal as follows: “Bobby (Robert Glatzel, ed.) plays a super ball into the top. Baka (Bakery Jatta, ed.) calls for me to let him through. In the end there is luck that the ball falls right in front of my feet. Then it wasn’t so difficult anymore.”
