Specialists in the IT sector are still desperately sought after. Some companies lure you with particularly attractive salaries.

Dusseldorf Desperately wanted and paid with an excellent salary – this favorable combination for employees promises jobs in the IT industry. The digital association Bitkom examined the need in a study. Accordingly, there were 137,000 vacant IT positions last year. That is 40,000 more than in 2021. And the trend is rising: According to an analysis by the Indeed job exchange, in February 2023 the 40 Dax companies were already missing 3,347 IT specialists – a good 13 percent more than in the previous month.
According to Indeed, the most frequently searched for IT specialists among the DAX companies in February were Deutsche Telekom (470 jobs), Mercedes-Benz (327 jobs), Eon (307 jobs) and Siemens (291 jobs). At Telekom, there were a particularly large number of vacancies on topics such as “Cloud”, “IT” and “Java”. In February, Volkswagen advertised 99 IT jobs, 22 percent more than in January.
