How investors achieved more than 30 percent plus with equity funds

Frankfurt American stocks beat European stocks – and by a significant margin. The 2021 fund balance sheet, which expert André Härtel from the Scope Analysis company evaluated for the Handelsblatt, can be summed up in this simple formula, and in which the average gains in value of funds in important investment groups are compared.

Equity funds that invest in North America achieved an average performance of 34 percent in the past calendar year – making them the frontrunners in this ranking. Funds geared towards small caps in North America rose by a good 27 percent, taking third place. In comparison, funds with European equities are up by an average of 20 percent. In second place are products for commodity stocks with almost 30 percent.
