Anyone looking for information on topics such as solar systems, heat pumps or saving energy on the Internet is increasingly coming across start-ups that promise help. But what can they do? Ten energy-saving start-ups under the magnifying glass.

1. Enpal: Solar system with a monthly subscription

The company offers a service package for all aspects of photovoltaic systems: Enpal advises homeowners, plans and installs the solar cells, maintains and insures them. A solar power storage unit and a charging station for electric cars are also included. Despite the current high demand and Europe-wide shortage of solar modules, Enpal claims to be able to deliver.
