Dusseldorf The auditing company EY is striving for a speedy solution to the internal dispute over the demerger plans. The global management is planning talks with partners and the large national companies in the coming weeks, according to company circles. Most recently, there had been resistance to the plans, especially in the United States.

EY wants to separate the consulting business from the assurance business, creating two separate and independent companies. That would be a revolution in the auditing industry, in which PwC, Deloitte, KPMG and so far also EY operate both savings in an integrated manner. But the separation is highly complex.
