Frankfurt Things are looking up – slowly but surely. Building interest rates have been at an extremely low level for around two years: interested parties can still secure conditions for building money with a ten-year term for less than one percent.

But that could soon change: there has been a slight trend reversal in building interest rates since the beginning of September this year. Since then, interest rates have risen from an average of 0.75 percent to just under one percent. And things could go up.

Many market experts anticipate that the era of very low mortgage rates is drawing to a close. They refer to the inflation rate and the yields on ten-year Bunds, two values ​​that are related to each other as well as to building interest.
