HBO’s upcoming documentary Money ElectricSamson Mow, who was reported to appear in , sparked speculation by tweeting that the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious founder of Bitcoin, would be revealed as Adam Back.
The claim was denied by Adam Back a few minutes later, saying Samson Mow was joking.
Mow’s tweet had a significant impact on the prediction market Polymarket, where bets that Adam Back is Satoshi rose to 76%. As of now, this estimate has dropped to 9.8%.
