Hoeneß rages against vegans – THAT say German stars – people

Many will not like it …

Uli Hoeneß (69), ex-president of FC Bayern and founder of the HoWe sausage factory, is a friend of clear words.

Now he’s grilling vegans …

On the radio station “Antenne Bayern” he said that he had tried vegan food once. But: “I don’t like the stuff because everything is in there that shouldn’t be in a Nuremberg sausage, namely stabilizers and flavor enhancers.”

That is why he does not accept vegan “at all, because in the long run people only get sick”.

The attitude of vegans also bothered him. “Everyone should do that. But the problem is: they are militant. If you criticize them today, they’ll attack you. ”Hoeneß wanted to have the right to eat what he wanted.

Like on his 70th birthday in January. Then he wants to serve his guests a lot of meat. Because they should “have fun eating”.

But according to his statements, Germany is discussing: Are vegans really militant?

►Film star Ursula Karven (57) on BILD: “I am avowedly vegan and not militant. Either way: Uli Hoeneß is wrong. But he’s also the son of a butcher, if I remember correctly. We can also compare the blood values: I mean and Mr. Hoeneß his. “

Her colleague Hannes Jaenicke (61), also a vegan out of conviction, counters with a smile. The TV star on BILD: “Well, I haven’t fallen off my bones yet. I’m not militant either and my CO2 balance is probably better than that of Uli Hoeneß. “

Hoeneß has been producing sausages since 1985

Uli Hoeneß founded the company W. Weiß in 1985 with Werner Weiß in Nuremberg (Bavaria). Initially, they have 20 employees.

In 1988 the name was changed to HoWe (from the first letters of Hoeneß and Weiß). In 2001, Hoeneß handed the company over to his son Florian (41).

Today HoWe produces 4 million sausages a day, has 300 employees and has an annual turnover of around 100 million euros.

Does a vegan diet shorten life?

Those who eat without animal products are vegan. Meat, fish, cheese, honey etc. are taboo!

Physician Dr. Jens Freese. Studies on vegan nutrition contradict each other! You can do just as much right or wrong here as with mixed food. The fact is: By avoiding meat, vegans have to consume vitamin B12 as a dietary supplement! Important: Vegan finished products are no healthier than other finished products.
