Frankfurt Hardly any German bank boss is as close to what is happening on the capital markets as Hendrik Riehmer. As early as January 2022, the personally liable partner of Hamburg-based Berenberg Bank, which earns its money primarily with share placements, funds and asset management, warned a significant correction on the stock markets in Europe and the USA.
In the meantime, Riehmer is looking to the future with much more optimism: the prices have bottomed out and the stock exchanges are about to start a new share cycle, the banker says in an interview with the Handelsblatt.
