Rocco Bräuniger has been head of Amazon Germany since the beginning of the year, replacing Ralf Kleber, who had done this job for 20 years. Bräuniger not only has to develop the business, but also has to defend the company against accusations that Amazon is exploiting its strong market position.

The Verdi union wants to use regular strikes to force the conclusion of a collective agreement, and the antitrust authorities are investigating how trading partners on the marketplace are treated.
