FTX to Work on Web3 with New Partner in Africa

Cryptocurrency exchange FTX has started to cooperate with AZA Finance to contribute to Web3 efforts in Africa.

AZA Finance with FTX; It will explore how Web3 technology can be developed in African markets and provide infrastructure support for various fiat currencies across the continent. This is expected to provide convenience to users in Africa when transacting via FTX.

Alongside developing the continent’s Web3 infrastructure, the duo plans to open new digital currency pairs for customers in Africa.

AZA Finance, formerly known as BitPesa, was founded in 2013 as a financial technology firm in Kenya. The company, which established Africa’s first digital currency exchange, expanded to 10 different markets over time and in total. 250 billion dollars mediated the processing.

Collaboration between FTX and AZA Finance non-fungible token (NFT) including technology. In this context, FTX aims to work with NFT artists in Africa.

Founded by Sam Bankman-Fried, Hong Kong-based FTX received a $400 million Series C investment earlier this year. 32 billion dollars had reached valuation.
