Bloodborne, the critically acclaimed action RPG game released by From Software for PS4 in 2015, has been a game that players have long wanted to come to PC. Hidetaka Miyazaki, the company’s president, shared his thoughts on these demands.
Hidetaka Miyazaki talked about the Bloodborne PC port
From Software’s president, Hidetaka Miyazaki, expressed his wishes for Bloodborne to come to PC in an interview with PC Gamer. In an interview with Miyazaki, producer Yasuhiro Kitao and translator Bobby Simpson, “I know people want a PC port of Bloodborne. If I want too, I’ll be in trouble. But I am not against it.” said.
Miyazaki as the creator of the game“I would love for Bloodborne to be experienced by more players” he said and added: “Especially as an aging game, it would be nice if more players could experience and relive this relic of the past. So, from my perspective, I’m certainly not against it.”
While these statements raise hopes for the PC port or remake of Bloodborne, it should not be forgotten that the decision belongs to Sony. Miyazaki stated in February that he was very happy with the calls for Bloodborne to be remake or re-released.
From Software’s latest game, Elden Ring, was released in February 2022 and has sold 25 million copies worldwide. Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion will be released on June 21. Although Miyazaki stated that he is not considering making a second Hand-held Ring DLC, he leaves the door open for a possible sequel.
