Matt Hamilton, Former Executive of Ripple, Says XRP Is Still The Best Payment Technology In His Statement

As you know, the XRP community has been trying to start a wave of excitement about the transition to ISO 20022, which started today.

ISO 20022 is a messaging standard for financial institutions that aims to improve interoperability between various payment systems and improve data flows.

The XRP community is exaggerating this transition, claiming it will significantly benefit Ripple and XRP.

However, ISO 20022 from cryptocurrencies independent and not directly related to Ripple or any other cryptocurrency project. So the transition will not affect XRP in the way some people believe.

Hamilton, who left Ripple last March, believes the community will now find another date for conspiracy theories. “Yeah, this is not going to end,” Hamilton said. The lunatics will just be stuck in another date,” he tweeted.

Despite his criticisms from the community, Hamilton continues the bullish trend in XRP, stating that he believes XRP Ledger is still the best technology for decentralized payments:

“I tend to be bullish as I think XRP Ledger is still the best technology for making decentralized payments.”

Matt Hamilton currently works as a consultant for Protocol Labs, another cryptocurrency company.
