Former CIA Agent: “China’s Bans Made Bitcoin And Cryptocurrencies Even Stronger!”

Former CIA employee Edward Snowden, one of the leading supporters of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, shared his thoughts on China’s repressive and prohibitive regulations.

The famous whistleblower said that the Chinese government’s ban on Bitcoin actually makes Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies even stronger.

In his post on his Twitter account, referring to his tweets about the decline in Bitcoin caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020;

Sometimes I think about that day and wonder how much Bitcoin people bought back then.

Despite a coordinated global campaign by governments since then to undermine public understanding and support for cryptocurrency, the value of Bitcoin has increased nearly 20 times since then.

China went a step further and banned it, but this made Bitcoin even stronger.

Saying that bans like Snowden and him further strengthen Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, analysts say that China will ban all technology one by one, as it thinks that it is ahead of the Digital Yuan in the future.

The famous whistleblower made headlines in 2013, admitting that he was paid with Bitcoin in exchange for leaked information from the National Security Agency, where he worked.

Snowden, who has frequently expressed his views on Bitcoin since that day, finally expressed his criticisms about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies’ lack of privacy.
