Many automakers made unexpected moves due to the acceleration of electricity conversion by other Chinese companies, especially Tesla. Of course, many were a few years late in taking this transformation. But as a result of this, they came together and started to develop and use a common infrastructure, that is, to turn this situation into an advantage.
Ford is taking its electric transformation at least as seriously as German manufacturers. So much so that it started to introduce electric versions in all its models, from the iconic Mustang, which everyone has known for 50 years, to the F-150, the best-selling car / truck in the USA.

Ford has recalled more than 1.2 million cars on the grounds that brake fluids were leaking due to leaks.
The new electric Explorer, introduced today and using the infrastructure developed by Volkswagen, is also a part of this process. But for now it will only be sold in Europe. When we look inside the vehicle, it has all the elements that have become standard today, such as a fully equipped infotainment system, 15-inch animated screen, wireless application integration and advanced driver assistance.
However, since this car is electric, the most important details lie in its technical features. Although being electric may seem like a disadvantage for many people, its charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in 25 minutes shows that it is above the average.
Moreover, it is fully compatible with 21,000 charging stations in the UK alone and 500,000 in Europe (25 countries). Let’s say that the brand is positioning this model directly opposite the Nissan Ariya and Kia EV5.
