First responder training in electric vehicle fires and accidents from Togg!

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Department, Prevention and Education Branch Directorate Education Unit (KOBITEM) made a training visit to TOGG facilities located in Informatics Valley. Attracting attention at the CES 2022 fair, the Turkey-based automobile company provided a detailed training on electric vehicle fire and first response to accidents, accompanied by its experts, to KOBITEM personnel.

Drawing attention to the importance of first response in potential fires and accidents that may occur in electric cars, which are becoming more and more common day by day, TOGG has invited the Education Unit of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Department, Prevention and Training Branch Directorate.

A detailed presentation was made by TOGG experts on the history of electric cars in the world, their development process, advanced vehicle security systems and the TOGG car to KOBITEM, which came to the facilities that did not let their invitation go unanswered.

In addition, a comprehensive training was provided by the company’s experts on how to make the first response in potential emergencies that may occur in vehicles with electric motors. After the training, firefighter instructors were given the opportunity to explore and simulate the domestic automobile.

The main purpose of this training is to prevent electric cars, which are expected to appear frequently in our country in the future, from causing loss of life in possible emergencies. In this direction, it is expected that more institutions such as KOBITEM will undergo these trainings in the future.
