Japanese cryptocurrency exchange BitPoint Japan has said it will add support for the Shiba Inu (SHIB) by the end of the month. BitPoint Japan announced today that it will list the popular meme coin SHIB on November 30, 2022.
After officially listing Shiba Inu for trading on November 30, the exchange also noted that it will be the first cryptocurrency exchange in Japan to support the popular meme coin. BitPoint has yet to specify which Shiba Inu trading pairs will be available when the token is officially listed.
According to Crunchbase, BitPoint Japan was launched on March 3, 2016 and is currently one of the top exchanges in the country. In addition to operating in Japan, BitPoint also offers services in Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Latin America.
BitPoint Japan Announces 4 Campaigns To Celebrate SHIB Listing
BitPoint is launching 4 campaigns to celebrate the upcoming Shiba Inu listing. First, the exchange said it will reward new users who open an account on the platform from November 30, 2022 to December 29, 2022, with 1 million Shiba Inu tokens (about $9).
Apart from that, a competition will be launched with SHIB. In this category, 11 users who purchased Shiba Inu worth 10,000 yen ($72) will enter the draw to share 100 million SHIB worth $903 at the current price.
BitPoint Japan has also set up a social media campaign to celebrate the listing of Shiba Inu tokens. The campaign period will run from November 30, 2022 to December 29, 2022. Twitter users who follow the BitPoint account, like and retweet the campaign tweet during the campaign period will be eligible to be included in the list of winners. Here, BitPoint will reward one user with 100 million SHIB, while 11 other users will share 11.11 million meme coins.
For the fourth campaign, the participants were asked, “How many Shiba Inu tokens are written at the top of the BitPoint Japan page?” You will need to answer the question correctly. Responses will be posted here from November 30, 2022 to December 29, 2022. BitPoint Japan will choose 11 people by lot from among those who answer the question correctly, and each will receive 1.11 million SHIB.
