First Data on Terra Classic (LUNC) Combustion Received: How Much of Total Supply Was Burned?

Binance’s margin and spot Terra Classic (LUNC) Pairs’ collection to burn trading fees ended on October 1st. Everyone was wondering how much was the amount of tokens burned.

Data on the LUNC supply burned varies from portal to portal, sometimes even in the millions of tokens. For data, however, the focus was on the two largest, LUNC.TECH and TerRarity.

3.2 Billion Terra Classic (LUNC) Tokens Burned in Last 10 Days

According to the first source, the total supply of LUNC is currently 6.9 trillion tokens and the amount burned to date is 7.47 billion. However, 3.2 billion, which accounts for the majority of tokens burned altcoin burned in the last 10 days.

In other words, according to this data, an average of 320 million LUNC was burned daily in the last 10 days.

TerRarity’s data is not much, but still different from the above. Thus, this data provider’s total supply of LUNC equals 6.89 trillion tokens, while the number of tokens burned equates to 7.55 billion.

There is no difference between the data provided by the TerRarity data provider and the data provided by the LUNC.TECH source, according to the amount of tokens burned through the exchanges. According to two sources, 3.2 billion tokens were burned through exchanges in the last 10 days.

Currently, just over 300 million Terra Classics are incinerated each day by various means, bringing the time required to burn at least 5 trillion of the total supply to 45 years.

After the collapse of the Terra ecosystem, a large number of LUNA tokens were minted to keep the UST stablecoin stable.
