Fiat introduced its new electric car model!

One of Fiat’s most iconic models, the 500 was popularly known by the nickname Topolino, which means ‘little mouse’. Fiat is now bringing that name back with its new small electric car. The new Fiat Topolino may be one of the ideal options for city use.

Fiat Topolino shares platform with Citroen Ami

Fiat Topolino rises on the foundations of Citroen Ami. The brand, which continues its activities within Stellantis, has thus taken this partnership to the next level. The Topolino will be the third city car to use the same platform, following the Citroen Ami and Opel Rocks-e models.

For now, only one photograph of Fiat Topolino, which is stated to represent the Italian spirit perfectly, has been published. However, even this shared photo is enough for us to see that the new vehicle is separated from its siblings.

Bugatti owners made breathtaking speed tests at the weekend event. It almost broke the world record. Here are the details

Compared to the Citroen Ami and Opel Rocks Electric, the Fiat Topolino differs greatly from these models at the front. In the front section, the vehicle, which refers to the 500 models from which it is named, differs from its siblings with its design. It is difficult to comment on the rear of the vehicle, but we expect changes in this section to be limited.

In the shared image, we see the vehicle without a door. The reason for this is that we are probably facing a special version. Citroen followed a similar path with the My Ami Buggy version. The small electric car also features a folding fabric roof, a nod to the original Topolino.

Under the body of the vehicle, there will be an 8-hp electric power unit, which is probably also found in the Citroen Ami. With a 5.5 kWh battery, the Ami offers a range of approximately 75 kilometers. The maximum speed of the vehicle is limited to 45 km/h.

Fiat has not shared more details about its new electric car for now. We hope to have more information about the new small and inexpensive electric car in the coming days. So what do you think about Fiat’s new electric car model? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
