Feldberg ski area: This year skiing only with “2G Plus” | Regional

Feldberg – In the Feldberg ski area in the Black Forest, the lift operators are planning a so-called 2G-Plus rule for the coming ski season.

Adults who want to hit the slopes must therefore be vaccinated or have recovered. For school-age children, a negative test or a student ID is sufficient, as a spokeswoman for the lift network explained on Monday. “Students are tested in schools anyway,” she said.

▶ ︎ The lift tickets should be booked online and proof of recovery or vaccination against the virus should be provided online at the same time as the booking.

An overall concept is currently still being worked on. In the next few weeks, this will be officially presented, as the spokeswoman said. Depending on the snow conditions, the winter season on the Feldberg begins around mid-December.

The previous season ended in mid-March of this year without a single day of the slopes being opened due to the Corona restrictions.

The lift network had put the sales losses at at least eight million euros.
