Features Coming to Nothing Phones, Leaked by the CEO

In the technology world, leaks are often carried out by anonymous accounts with sources in the supply chain. However Nothing CEO Carl Pei, made a surprise and “leaked” the features that will come with Nothing OS 3.0. CEO Pei gave information about the innovations that will be offered to users in the new version of the Nothing operating system.

Nothing OS 3.0 will offer significant changes to the lock screen. The current lock screen only includes the time and date, as on most phones. In the new version, weather, quick transactions and date widgets can be added as well as a digital dots clock with the “Clock + Widget” option. For users who want more information content:Expanded Widget Area” will be presented. This option will show quick actions, weather, and contacts widgets, along with a large date widget and analog clock.

Although the details have not been fully shared yet, we understand from the image Pei shared that it will contain three layers (input image, live interaction and final output), which means there may be dynamic animations in the user interface.

The Nothing OS 3.0 update is also expected to include a revamped gallery app and a dedicated community app. Update, Nothing Phone (1), Nothing Phone (2) and coming out soon Nothing Phone (2a) will be available for models. Carl Pei announced that Nothing OS 3.0 will be introduced in September. Hopefully, Pei will continue to share new “leaks” until then and Nothing users will learn about the new features coming to their phones.
