The poker for striker Christoph Daferner (24) from Dynamo Dresden is over!
Daferner will play for 1. FC Nürnberg in the coming season. After the club had come to an agreement with the player for some time, the agreement with the Saxons followed after tough negotiations.
The bone of contention was the transfer fee until the very end. Since Dresden has been relegated to the third division, FCN only wanted to shell out around half a million euros. However, Dynamo insisted on around one million euros. Now the FCN has agreed, including the supplements. According to BILD information, the contracts will be drawn up after the verbal agreement on Sunday and Monday. So the transfer is on the home straight
After passing the medical check, Daferner will also travel to the training camp in South Tyrol. FCN only signed another striker on Friday with the Swiss Kwadwo Duah (25/from FC St. Gallen). This should complete the planning in terms of offensive access.
Daferner scored 13 goals last season despite Saxony’s relegation and is set to receive a three-year contract with the club.
