Solana (SOL) Reactivated After Recent Network Outage
Software and Blockchain company running a validating node on Solana Stakewizsaid in a Twitter message that the Solana network has been successfully restarted.
The Solana Mainnet cluster has successfully restarted a few minutes ago, new blocks are being finalized.

In the interruption in question, it turned out that a validator was running a duplicate validator instance, meaning that instead of producing a single block, each instance of the validator produced one block.
This caused the blockchain to fork because validators could not agree on which one was correct.
This fork turned into an obscure code path that caused validators to fail back to the main fork.
Stakewiz suggested that the inability of the SOL network to rectify the situation could be due to a failed Node failover setting.
It has been decided to restart the network from 153139220, the last slot confirmed. Application services are working to restore services.
Despite promoting itself as a high-performance blockchain, Solana has suffered a number of glitches over the past year. She was disabled for almost 18 hours in September 2021.
It was also frozen for about seven hours until the validators restarted in early May.
Likewise, in June, it was disabled for about four hours. The network also underperformed in January, March, April and May.
