Alison stated that young user participation on Facebook has reached its highest point in the last three years. In this context, She stated that there are more than 40 million active users between the ages of 18-29 in the USA and Canada alone. He underlined that more time is spent on the platform thanks to the renewed video content, Reels and the new vertical video player.
New artificial intelligence suggestions allow Facebook to recommend better content in Reels and video players. The company also stated that it is testing advanced artificial intelligence models that learn from large data sets to power video recommendations.
Other features aimed at teenagers include apps connected to Facebook. According to the company’s statement, the growth of Facebook Dating, which currently has more than 1.8 billion monthly users, and Marketplace, where one in four young people shop, continues to grow.
