The founder of the exchange, Faruk Fatih Özer, who fled abroad with the collapse of the Thodex crypto money exchange and the loss of tens of thousands of customer funds, was caught in Albania.
Özer, who has not yet been extradited to Turkey, will be extradited, according to Anadolu Agency’s report today.
The hearing of Özer, whose extradition to Turkey has been requested for some time, was postponed several times. Özer, whose extradition from Albania to Turkey was given a positive decision today, is expected to come to Turkey soon and be put on trial.
It is known that the amount of loss in Thodex as a result of the MASAK inspection is 356 million TL.
