Berlin Whether for travel expense accounting, an order or in cost controlling: the software from SAP is complex. However, a new generation of artificial intelligence (AI) could significantly simplify operation. In several projects, the Dax group is exploring the potential of systems such as ChatGPT for its own products – for example through voice input.
“We’re working on some exciting use cases for large language models,” Feiyu Xu, who leads AI development at SAP, told Handelsblatt. There is still a lot of work to be done, as a supplier of business software, SAP has to “offer high-quality products” – mistakes, such as those made by technology, should be avoided. In a few months, however, this could be used in the first products.
