Vaculug Will Accept Bitcoin and Ethereum Payments
In a press release issued by Vaculug, it was stated that customers can now purchase tires via Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), among other related services.
The firm also stated that it will issue PPK and PPV fixed price contracts in crypto per kilometer (CPK) and crypto per vehicle (CPV).
The service will be available to clients who aim to peg or link their contracts to the Bitcoin or Ethereum price.
According to Vaculug’s IT manager Jason Humphries, the firm chose cryptocurrencies and Blockchain to meet their customer needs.
He also talked about the benefits of crypto such as instant and cost-effective transactions.
“Blockchain technology is not the future, it is now. We believe that in the near future all companies will have to accept cryptocurrencies and we are proud to be the first tire liner to do so.
As a customer-focused company, we believe we need to keep up with the times and offer our customers more options than just sterling and pence. Moreover, this lowers the transaction cost for all parties involved and provides more value to our customers.”
However, it is noteworthy that the company took such a step despite the price drop in the crypto market.
