Ethereum Founder Holds 100,000 of This Meme Coin – Here’s Why

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin now officially owns 100,000 Dogs of Elon (DOE). This development happened when the team recently sent these tokens to Buterin’s ENS address – vitalik.eth.

Said information can be checked at Vitalik’s address on Etherscan, which displays the DOE balance along with other tokens held by Vitalik. However, sending tokens to Buterin’s address seems to be a new way for crypto projects to be the center of attention. Previously, anonymous developers of Shiba Inu (SHIB) sent 50 percent of the token supply to Vitalik Buterin’s wallet. Assuming that the founder of Ethereum would not spend the tokens, they sent those tokens to him, effectively removing the coins from circulation. Since Vitalik Buterin is one of the most important names in the crypto market, his ownership of cryptocurrencies sends a strong message to the crypto community.

Vitalik had burned some of his previous SHIBs and sent some to charity. Now it’s a question of what he will do with his DOEs. But for investors, it is worth noting: Even if Vitalik sells DOE tokens, it will not have a huge impact on the market.

The Dogs of Elon (DOE) project has gained rapid momentum since its launch last week. The cryptocurrency project has been listed on popular crypto exchanges such as Poloniex and Gate.io. Additionally, Dogs of Elon (DOE) is currently running an ongoing airdrop that is open to the public. More than 1.3 million users participated in the airdrop, which showed a genuine interest in the crypto project.

In addition, Dogs of Elon has entered the highly anticipated NFT game by creating a CryptoPunks alternative. The Dogs of Elon NFT collection is currently available on the Ethereum-based NFT marketplace Opensea.io.
