Alexa is shutting down: Here are Turkey’s 50 most visited sites!

Alexa, which has been with us for nearly 25 years, is now shutting down. When we look at the most visited sites in Turkey, Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are in the top 5 as anyone can guess.

Right behind it are shopping sites, news sites, and other social media platforms. ShiftDelete, Turkey’s largest technology website with a monthly number of unique visitors exceeding 10 million and page views of nearly 30 million, managed to complete the race in the top 50.

In addition, it should be noted that the shopping site of Amazon, the parent company of Alexa, is 32nd in Turkey, Microsoft is 35th and Reddit is 37th. In addition, official websites of government institutions are also included in this list.

For example, meb.gov.tr, which is the official site of the Ministry of National Education, is in the 45th place, while turkiye.gov.tr, where I log in to e-Government, is in the 13th place. Of course, it should be noted that this ranking is constantly changing according to active traffic. Because Wikipedia, which is used by many people, is currently in the 13th place. But when we took the screenshot, it was in the 17th place.
