Paris The heroine of the series “Emily in Paris”, an employee of a marketing company, stylishly strides along the cobblestones in high heels, photographs sights, sits in a café or restaurant. The Netflix series paints a romantic picture of Paris, but also cliche. And yet this has a direct impact on the real estate market there: the demand for luxury apartments in Paris is increasing.

Many tourists from the United States are currently visiting the French capital, while the Netflix series is attracting many Americans to the Paris real estate market. Lily Collins, who plays the American Emily Cooper in the series, is now considered the ambassador of France.

Return to the noble quarters

The filming locations of the series and the Parisian ambience captivate investors. But there are also economic factors that are driving the trend. Because the interest rates in Europe, which are lower than in the USA, and the strong dollar exchange rate are spurring on the real estate business.
