Mini introduces the John Cooper Works series with an electric motor. The company, which shared images of its new electric model Mini John Cooper Works E Prototype today, will reveal the new JCW model at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Mini John Cooper Works is going electric!
The JCW family, which has more powerful engines than a standard Mini Cooper, keeps up with technology. Stepping into the electric car era, Mini Cooper is preparing to meet us with its new model, the Mini John Cooper Works E Prototype. The company, which dresses its new electric car after the Mini Cooper S that won the 1964 Monte Carlo rally, introduces this special prototype with the “37” logo to us with photos.

If we take a look at the new electric Mini JCW E Prototype in terms of design, the first thing that catches the eye is the glossy black side skirts and rear diffuser. Mini, which shows that the vehicle is powerful with these parts, also mounted a glossy black spoiler on the roof.
Of course, since it is a hot hatch car, the JCW E Prototype, which we will encounter with high power, does not provide any information on the engine side for now. However, it is stated that the vehicle will be more powerful than the 218 HP gasoline models.

Although Mini introduced the JCW family to electricity, it also stated that it will not give up on gasoline immediately. The company, which will also introduce the gasoline version of the same vehicle, has not yet given a date for that model. However, the Mini John Cooper Works E Prototype will be with us at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will start on July 11. Let’s see how much horsepower the vehicle will have.
