Dusseldorf The US stock markets closed inconsistently after the release of the Federal Reserve (Fed) interest rate minutes. The Dow Jones index of standard values fell 0.3 percent on Wednesday to 33,045 points. The tech-heavy Nasdaq, on the other hand, advanced 0.1 percent to 11,507 points. The broad S&P 500 lost 0.2 percent to 3991 points.
A solid majority of Fed policymakers at the most recent interest rate meeting advocated slowing the pace of rate hikes to a quarter of a percentage point.
