Frankfurt Paul Achleitner welcomes us to his office at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt to talk about his alma mater. The view from the 33rd floor is spectacular and the top inspector is in a good mood. “I’m 5G,” he says. He was vaccinated twice, boosted twice and now also recovered.

He not only looks back fondly on his student days at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) from 1976 to 1980. He has also been associated with the German business elite for many years as a donor and President of the Board of Trustees. The new Learning Center will finally open on Sunday. He and other donors spent 63 million francs, the equivalent of almost 60 million euros, on the new building.
