Of course, although we often see custom-made vehicles around here, DJI offers a package as a whole. Avata is one of them. It is a device that appeals to professionals with its speed, high resolution and frame rate, and artificial intelligence supported software.
The reason why we say that it is especially aimed at professionals here is the weight of the device. Under normal conditions, if a drone-like aircraft weighs less than 250 grams, we can fly it as an amateur without the need for a pilot’s certificate. But Avata is about 500 grams. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain the necessary permits and register the device both in Turkey and abroad.
As can be seen in the video above, the DJI Avata connects with the Goggles 2 goggles and via the controller in the pilot’s right hand. Of course, it is not yet known whether this controller is motion-sensitive or whether it is directed through the keys on it. However, it should be noted that in the leaked images, there is a controller similar to the one used in the Mavic series, but without a separate holding device for the phone.
