Deutsche Post earns significantly more – Fraport continues to pay no dividends

Fraport back on course for growth – No dividend for 2022

The dynamic increase in demand for air travel has brought strong growth to the Frankfurt airport operator Fraport. This made the Executive Board confident of reaching the upper end of the forecast range for the year as a whole, as the group announced on Tuesday. “The rapid growth is supported by high demand from private travelers,” explained CEO Stefan Schulte. The international airport holdings in the holiday regions benefited from this in particular, above all the Greek airports, which had exceeded the pre-crisis level.

In addition, Fraport managed to return to the black in terms of consolidated earnings in the third quarter. In the first half of the year, this was still negative as a result of write-downs on the Russian business. In the first nine months booked Fraport at one Sales increase of 57.6 percent to 2.14 billion euros an increase in operating result (Ebitda) by almost 33 percent 828.6 million euros. That Group result reached 98.1 (previous year: 118) million euros.

For the year as a whole, the Executive Board is aiming for sales of just over three billion euros. The Ebitda range is around 850 to around 970 million euros. The group result is zero to around 100 million euros. The Executive Board will continue to propose not to pay a dividend for 2022.
