Deutsche Bahn stops long-distance traffic in northern Germany after a defect

Berlin According to Deutsche Bahn, a technical fault in northern Germany is currently leading to a complete standstill in train traffic.

All ICE, IC and EC trains in northern Germany are affected, the railway said on Saturday morning. Regional trains are also affected, according to reports from several operators. The regional transport company Metronom from Lower Saxony reports a fault in the train radio system on Twitter.
