There are 107 Spiritomb Wisps for players to find to complete an optional request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Players will receive a variety of rewards for finding all of the Spiritomb Wisps and completing “Eerie Apparitions in the Night.” Before starting this mission, players will need to obtain the Odd Keystone by finishing “The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods.” The Odd Keystone will allow players to interact with and seal away the Spiritomb Wisps.
All 107 Spiritomb Wisps can be found around Hisui, and every location has 20 wisps, except for Pokémon Legends: Arceus‘ Jubilife Village, which only has seven. Some of the Spiritomb Wisps will require players to swim or fly in order to reach them. Players will get the quest from Vessa who explains that a seal was broken releasing the Spiritomb Wisps across Hisui, and she asks for the players to help capture all of them.
At the start of the quest, players will be tasked with finding a nearby Spiritomb Wisp in Jubilife Village. This wisp is mandatory and players will have a marker to locate it. The Spiritomb Wisp will be across the bridge behind Vessa, and players can simply approach it to capture it in the Odd Keystone. The best way to locate Spiritomb Wisps is to search for them at night so their purple glow is easily visible. While players are collecting Spiritomb Wisps, they can return to Vessa to claim rewards.
Players will receive their first reward for five Spiritomb Wisps, which is an Oval Stone. At 10 Spiritomb Wisps, players will be given a Rare Candy in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. After that, players will receive various rewards for every 10 Spiritomb Wisps that they turn in. Rewards include four Seed of Mastery, a Dusk Stone, three Exp. Candy L, a Linking Cord, five Grit Pebbles, a Reaper Cloth, and three Grit Rocks. Players will need to bring the Spiritomb Wisps back to Vessa in order to receive their rewards.

- There’s a Spiritimb Wisp for players to find in between the houses to the west of Jubilife Village’s Front Gate.
- The last Spiritomb Wisp players can find in this area is actually just outside of Jubilife Village’s gate towards Prelude Beach near a tree.

- Players can head north of the Worn Bridge to find a Spiritomb Wisp at the edge of the water near a mountain base.
- Players can find a Spiritomb Wisp at the top of a mountain south of Obsidian Falls.
- At the top of a hill, there’s a tree with a Spiritomb Wisp at its base, and it’s located in between Nature’s Pantry and Tidewater Dam.
- Players can go to the northeastern area of Horseshoe Plains to find a Spiritomb Wisp on the hill above where the Alpha Rapidash can be found.
- Players can fly in Pokémon Legends: Arceus to the top of the hill northwest of Aspiration Hill to reach a Spiritomb Wisp.
- At the edge of a cliff, players can find a Spiritomb Wisp just southeast of Grueling Grove.

- At the base of a mountain, players can find a Spiritomb Wisp located in the southern part of the Golden Lowlands.
- To the east of the Golden Lowlands, players can find a Spiritomb Wisp on a hill near Gapejaw Bog.

- There’s a Spiritomb Wisp that players can find on a mountain side north of Bolderoll Slope.

- Players will need to travel to the southernmost part of Pokémon Legends Arceus‘ Crimson Mirelands to find a Spiritomb Wisp at the bottom of a mountain close to the Holm of Trials.

- At the center of Cottonsedge Prairie, players can find a Spiritomb Wisp near a tree on a small hill.
- Players can go to the entrance of the Shrouded Ruins to find a Spiritomb Wisp at the edge of a cliff.
- At the base of the mountain south of Cloudpool Ridge, players can find a Spiritomb Wisp.
- Near where Pokémon Legends: Arceus‘ Alpha Sliggoo spawns, players can find a Spiritomb Wisp on the island south of Sludge Mound.
- Near the river north of Cloudpool Ridge, there’s a Spiritomb Wisp in between a tree and a mountain.

After players find all 107 Spiritomb Wisps, they will have a chance to catch Spiritomb. Players will need to return to Vessa so she can give them the final Wisp, which will trigger a battle with a level 60 Spiritomb. This Pokémon is a Ghost- and Dark-type that players can add to their team after battling it, draining its health, and capturing it. Completing the “Eerie Apparitions in the Night” request is the only way for players to obtain Spiritomb in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
