Despite Honor Among Thieves inexplicably proving to be a box-office bomb, Paramount's Dungeons & Dragons 2 promise doesn't sound like a good idea. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves adapted the iconic role-playing game, though it wasn't the first movie based on the property. That dishonor belongs to 2000's Dungeons & Dragons, which aside from a delightfully over-the-top turn by Jeremy Irons, was a near unwatchable fantasy saga. Despite being a critically reviled box-office dud, it still received two STV sequels; 2005's Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God and 2012's The Book of Vile Darkness.
