Despite the crisis, these 6 Dax companies are making more profit every year

Only six of the 40 companies listed in the leading index have managed to continuously increase their net profits since 2019 compared to the previous year.

Dusseldorf After billions in write-offs on the Russian business, BASF is slipping into the red, while Adidas’ profits are collapsing because business in China is going badly and the abrupt end of the collaboration with the controversial rapper Kanye West is becoming expensive. Even one of the decades most stable corporations, Fresenius Medical Care, suffers losses: The US healthcare market brings less income.

Only six of the 40 Dax companies have managed to continuously increase their net profits since 2019 compared to the previous year. These companies were not affected by the corona pandemic with global reluctance to buy and invest, nor by supply chain difficulties and weak demand in the former boom country China. Not even rising prices, expensive energy and the uncertainty after the Russian war of aggression.

What these stable companies have in common is a robust business model with products or services that are always in demand. For three of these six successful DAX companies, the winning streak goes back to 2015, and for one even to 2010.
