Start of the # HierWirdGeimpft campaign
In Germany, too, people should be motivated again to get vaccinated – there will be a nationwide vaccination campaign week in the coming week!
Only 62 percent in this country are fully vaccinated against Corona, probably too little. Therefore, Health Minister Jens Spahn (41, CDU) calls again for vaccinations.
► Under the motto #HierWirdGeimpft! five million vaccine doses are available.
Spahn to BILD am SONNTAG: “The federal government provides the vaccine, creates the platform and advertises the campaigns. It is organized by the federal states, municipalities and local associations. Our goal is to convince as many undecided as possible. Getting vaccinated has never been easier than it is now. Without an appointment, without long journeys, simply on site in everyday life. ”
In the capital, Berliners can get vaccinated at the kebab shop or in the zoo, but there will also be a lot of special vaccination campaigns in the other 15 federal states in the coming week.
There are also vaccination buses all over Germany, which allow vaccinations in many places on your own doorstep or in the immediate vicinity. Registration is usually not required.
► In museums, at city festivals, in swimming pools, at furniture stores, on the tram, or on days of action that only revolve around vaccination: every federal state takes part in the action week #HierWirdGeimpft! part – all vaccination campaigns in your state can be found here.
“We can only get through autumn and winter well if more people get vaccinated against corona. The federal and state governments start the week of action to make the many ongoing vaccination campaigns in the state more visible and to encourage new ones. With #HierWirdGinft we create the necessary attention. Everyone can participate and point out actions.

Will the combined vaccination come soon?
▶ ︎ According to BILD am SONNTAG information, the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko) also wants to advise on the possibility of giving flu and corona vaccinations in the coming week for the first time.
So far, the Stiko recommends a minimum interval of 14 days to other scheduled vaccinations before and after each Covid-19 vaccination. According to initial study results, that could change. The British University of Bristol has been investigating the simultaneous administration of a corona and an influenza vaccine since spring.
A statement from Stiko could be available by the end of September.
Virologist Klaus Stöhr (62) on BILD am SONNTAG: “Such a simultaneous vaccination would make sense. Because the two viruses overlap both in terms of their seasonality and in terms of the group of people at risk. ”In practice, Stöhr expects that two injections would then be given, for example one in the left and one in the right upper arm.
