Dusseldorf After the announcement of a special fund for the Bundeswehr, Germany’s armaments companies are massively recruiting. This is the result of inquiries from the Handelsblatt to the top companies in the industry.

According to this, around 1,000 new jobs are to be created at the Düsseldorf tank manufacturer Rheinmetall by the end of the year. The military and aerospace division of Airbus (“Defence & Space”) plans to create almost 600 additional jobs. And the submarine and naval shipbuilder Thyssen-Krupp Marine Systems wants to create 540 additional jobs worldwide for 2022, about twice as many as were originally planned before the start of the Ukraine war.

We are particularly looking for skilled workers such as machine and plant operators, electronics technicians, mechatronics technicians as well as industrial and cutting machine operators. In the academic field, local armaments companies are also looking for engineers and software developers, but also project managers and controllers.
