Dax slips more than 300 points

Dusseldorf Consolidation continues on the German stock market. The Dax closes 2.32 percent down at 13,230 points, a loss of around 314 points. The leading index already lost 1.8 percent in the past week. On Friday it fell 1.1 percent to 13,544 points.

The leading German index has meanwhile gained more than 1500 points since the beginning of July. Consequently, the ongoing consolidation should not come as a surprise, but the losses on today’s trading day are very clear.

On the upside, the 14,000 point mark is apparently still too high for investors. Because the highest point of this rally is 13,947 points. For an upward impulse, there has to be positive news that further inspires the Dax.
